Welcome!
More redesigns and updates. I will try to update this sooner, but it's just one more "to do" item on a long list. For more current information, find me on Facebook under Pol Robinson, I'm there just about every day.
Updates:
Open Water won a 2012 Lavender Certificate from The Alice B Readers Awards Committee! What does that mean? Read on (from their site)...
The Lavender Certificate: This award is given to authors early in their career who, in the committee's opinion, have an outstanding "maiden" novel - or first couple of novels - in print. We intend this recognition to serve as a token of encouragement for future writing and a note of thanks for a job well done!
Kissed By Venus magazine chose my short story, Stretching My Wings, as a fourth place winner of their "New Voices" Short Fiction contest. Congratulations to Sarah, Lita, and Elaine! From the KbV site:
"WINNERS OF THE VENUS MAGAZINE SHORT STORY COMPETITION
QUEBEC CITY, Canada. Jan. 24, 2012 — We are pleased to announce the winning entries of the ‘New Voices’ short story competition. And the winners are:
IN FIRST PLACE: The Witch Sea, by Sarah Diemer.
IN SECOND PLACE: Not So Deadly Sins, by Lita Cordova
IN THIRD PLACE: Lily Gets A Flu Shot, by Elaine Burnes
RUNNER UP: Stretching My Wings, by Pol Robinson
All the winning submissions will be featured in the ‘New Voices’ competition issue of the VENUS MAGAZINE, which will be available on the Kissed By Venus website as a free e-download, beginning February."
Just a note about my story. This is an erotic short story. I don't normally write erotica and I have no idea what inspired this piece. Therefore, if you know me and read it, for the love of all that's holy, don't tell me! I may never be able to look you in the eye again.
If you purchase(d) a copy of Open Water and would like to have it "signed," pop on over to Kindlegraph and request an autograph. It's a nifty little setup, I think! Don't let the name fool you, a Kindle is not required. The final file can come as a PDF as well as a Kindle thingie.

Things That Have Remained the Same...
Still have excerpts of my fiction here - at least with regard to novels.
Short fiction. Those will be back, I will be adding them in coming days.
Still have a wicked sense of humor. :::shrug::: Some things never change.https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=724901070&ref=fflhttp://www.bellabooks.com/eBook-Author-Pol-Robinson-cat.htmlhttp://www.alicebawards.org/about.htmlhttp://www.alicebawards.org/about.htmlhttp://kissedbyvenus.ca/http://kissedbyvenus.ca/http://www.kindlegraph.com/authors/polrobinOpen_Water_Excerpt.htmlhttp://blog.bellabooks.com/http://www.fanfiction.net/~polrobinhttp://twitter.com/polrobinhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=724901070&ref=fflhttp://polsblog.wordpress.comshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1shapeimage_2_link_2shapeimage_2_link_3shapeimage_2_link_4shapeimage_2_link_5shapeimage_2_link_6shapeimage_2_link_7shapeimage_2_link_8shapeimage_2_link_9shapeimage_2_link_10shapeimage_2_link_11shapeimage_2_link_12
